Default Rotation for lefties?

I'm lefty, and I much prefer using portable devices with my left hand.

With it standing up, that wouldn't be an issue, but is there an option to have it rotated the other way in sideways mode so I could work it with my left hand?

Oh, not so sure that you can do anything about this, YET. Kinda sucks for you then huh? Maybe if they offer more customization with firmwares. Sorry dude.

There is not a huge demand for this, so I'm not sure if it is coming soon.

Okay, thanks for the replies guys. I'm not getting one until around christmas, so hopefully some fix will be out by then.

If not, I'm sure I can learn to do it right-handed, it just might be an annoyance for a while.

Fellow lefty here....... I just learned to deal with things of this nature, as we do seem to be the minority.

What you should do is look at the video Ipod, and see if it's even something that they've even considered. I'd be willing to bet that if Apple didn't take us into consideration, Microsoft won't either.

Well, the Ipod Video doesn't have a sideways mode, so you can't really compare them that way. It's ambidextrous, as well as the Zune is in it's upright mode.

But yeah, i'll probably have to learn how to deal with it, at least for a while.

I think that would be good, make it more universal, because I CANT use my right hand because of severe cerebral palsy.
