My friend from cali is sending me their cracked Zune since they still have a nano and ipod video. Now I heard that I can bring a broken Zune into Walgreens and get a new one free no questions asked. And I do still have my original packaging, but I don't want to give up my headphones nor USB cord. So would I still be able to take it in?

I highly doubt it unless you have a receipt. And most stores have a 15-30 exchange period. And there is no way they would take it back minus the cord and earbuds.

Or call Microsoft. They should be able to repair it.

Well if its under warrenty, and wasn't dropped or anything, it should be free.

I'm pretty sure they don't... so there's no way they can give you a new one...

unless i'm wrong... and they do sell zunes... then it's worth a try... you have nothing to loose...
