I dont care for Zune So Far I hate iPod WORSE!

I like the physical part of zune (ie look, feel etc) but I can't stand how Microsoft is so FRICKEN SLLLOOOOOWWW with adding anything cool.

How come they just CAN"T add the portable drive thing?

Why Can't they add MORE supported formats?

How come you can't download videos from the marketplace?

How come they can't add a download feature with the wireless that's built in?

How come you can't organize the pictures/videos etc in more personalized ways.

How come you can't record radio stations?

How come you can't record voice (okay I can do with out this one but how easy is that to add it)

These are just off the top of my head... I know I have more but I am too busy at this moment to brain storm them all.

yeah... there's the hard drive hack... but to know knowledge you need the software for that... so it's really not that useful unless you have enough time on your hands to install the software onto every computer you need to transfer a file to... anyway.. yeah it needs the portable hard drive feature built in.

there's probably some kind of legal issue behind the lack of supported codecs... but there's a multi-extension mod you can get on this very site.

so you want to buy your vids off of the marketplace? i'd rather get them free... but it'd be nice to have.

I heard they were thinking about being able to download stuff with the wifi... but you would have to buy songs... this would be nice if you could wirelessly sync at home...

in a more personalized way? what do you mean? they're organized the same way they are on the computer... so just organize them the way you want on your computer... then sync... can't get more personable than that.

there's probably yet another legal issue with being able to record off of the radio.. this would be nice though

I think you would need some kind of new hardware to add a microphone.

I too, found the Zune to be the lesser of two evils, I used an iPod for 10 months, with 4 seperate battery failures. I've had my Zune for 5 months now, and 0 issues, I would appreciate a better battery life though. . .

But this is there first MP3 player ever
There are going to be flaws
But you do learn from your mistakes and with each new year there will come improvements
Patience is key

Wish i could say the same for ipod
But i cant
They have have made very little improvements at all
Same basic design in all their mp3 players (with the ecseption of the shuffle)
They offer nothing in new innovation ( that dumb Nike sh*t doesnt count, thats the biggest rip off since the first mac )

Thats what you pretty much get each year with ipod

In the coming years the zune will be so far ahead of the competition, there will be no competition

My main complaint is the video portion of the player. They should have the same features as the music section. Like being able to put the vids in different folders, with their own dvd covers as well.

I wish you could easily stitch tracks together in the Zune player like Itunes allows you to do. I hate the manditory two second pause MS adds between songs.

you can do that with your videos.... get the zmeta editor tool to add custom info to your video

I don't have to wait two seconds between tracks... in fact, they play pretty much continuously... unless I skip through the whole song... and even then it isn't two seconds.
