It finally happened. My zune broke.. I was in tears. for like 2 hours. And then i had some hope. ANd i called Zune SUpport To try to get a replacement. But guess what.. the serial was removed. gFg. Im pretty much screwed and i dont have enuff money. But i will still contribute to Zuneboards :\

Hmm It was my fault. The serials gone :[ Cuz i dropped lifting weights on it. 45 pounds it didnt break completely but unusable. the screen is cracked so is the bottom syncing. Im getting 20 bucks for the whole thing for my friend i guess its worth it. But I still think zunes are amazing. Even though if i dont get another one. ANd i switch it for a nano. Which i really relaly dont want to. Cuz

1) its apple
2) no cash
3) i rather die then own an apple. (no other choice tho)

it's worth a try to call up support and tell them that you want your money back...

there's litterally no reason not to ask... and don't get a nano... get something else in that price range... or save up more money and get something better. I don't see why you would settle for a nano

Do you still have the Zune box? The serial number is on the box. If not try this:

Open the Registry
Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Zune NSS\1.0\Devices\00-00-00-00-00-00
Get the Value "Serial Number" and see if Microsoft can do anything with it.

PoN, I still have my zune pass, and i plan on using it when school starts and I'll have a good connection, I have most of the music i need, so I'm gonna dl music for zboards and strip the drm, if you give me yours too, ill be able to do it for a month instead of 2 weeks.

also tell support, since you can't afford a zune you're going to buy a nano.
