I joined the forums today because my friend gave me his busted up old zune. The screen's cracked, headphone port busted, lock button pulled out. Wow, he did a number on this. But I don't care about all that, because I just want to use it as an external HDD. I got the patch working, and I got it loading, and I know the steps you have to go through, and all that. But my main focus now is to get the new Zune-HDD hybrid-thingy working on my LAN. You see, I have a slow computer. It meets the minimum requirements for most MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games). I've been a heavy anime fan for my entire life, and for years I've been downloading fansubs. I use the program Azureus. Now, as far as I'm concerned, Azureus is the best bittorrent client ever. But, now that I have this new Zune-HDD hybrid-thingy, I started downloading bigger animes. (up to 22 gigs) I own about 4 average-end computers and 2 low ends. I took one of my low-ends (98se, no usb ports, really really crappy) and hooked it up in my room. Due to the fact that it has no USB ports I can't transfer back and forth between computers. Anyways, I'm trying to use my low-end, which will stay on forever, to download torrents directly to the zune, so I can view them on my good computer. And Azureus horribly slows any (even most high-ends) at full speed. So my question is, Is there anyway I could leave my zune connected to my good computer, and network the HDD so that I can torrent animes directly to it, for my viewing pleasure?

utorrent owns azureus so use that on your good computer
it wont slow it down nearly as much as your faster computer I think the only way you can network your hard drives is to right click them and select sharing options. set that up then use the address of your networked zune to download the torrents... I've never tried anything like that... so I'm even sure if it's possible. I don't think you can download torrents to a networked hard drive.
