Best Overall Video Game Console?

Just wondering what you all think is the best Video Game Console based on Pricing, reliability, durability, games, online, power, and how it looks.

Personally, my money's on the Xbox 360. Reasonable price, most are reliable (except for the 3-30% that are having problems

), is pretty resistant to damage while moving, AMAZING games, incredible online play, Pretty powerful, and it just looks so awesome.

But that's my opinion, how about you?

my bet is also 360 . . . if 360 aslo have the game titles of PS then there would be no competetion . . . but still 360 is pretty cheap and awesome compared to PS3 . . .

During its time, the play station 2 was the best video game console, in my honest opinion. Right now, I would say that the best is between the play station 3 and the nintendo wii, but I still voted for the play station 2.

I don't think the PS2 had enough different types of games.. It had almost no shooters. All it was, was an rpg, fighter, and sports console. The 360 has everything, and has good games for every Genre.

I voted the 360 for the same reasons as everyone else said.

The Wii has an amazing concept, but... its just not up to par with serious gaming IMO. I've had a chance to play one a couple times, and I found myself each time saying "I PUNCHED/SWINGED/HIT/ECT WHY DID MY CHARACTER JUST *enter random, unrelated control here*!?!?!"

The motion sensor is cool, but 100% motion control just is a bad idea IMO. You want reliable controls, and not something that could misread a movement. Also, when I get really into a game, I like to play for a while. I would have chronic Wiiinitis! The last time I had an ailment from a video game was from red sore thumbs from playing Ape Escape boxing on the PS2. Its not happening again.

well... the ps2 lasted the ongest out of the list... so it's the most durable...

I don't remember the prices for the last gen cosoles... but I remember I could buy a ps2 and an xbox for the same price... but when i did get my ps2... it was fairely old.

but since the ps2 came around like... the same time the dreamcast did... it didn't have very nice graphics... so I gotta say for the last gen, the xbox was the best... even though it's controller sucked balls. black and white... wtf is that? ps2 controller was better... but as a console, the xbox wins

and for this gen... well, the wii is the cheapest... and you get what you pay for.
even though some of the games look nice, and are fun to play.

the 360... why did microsoft make a game console that only played dvds... horrible mistake, they're going to have to make a new console when games start to get too big for a dual layer dvd.

the ps3 is really nice... but the thing is... what if blu-ray doesn't win? (I think it will) and not many people have high def tvs... so why do I need to play high def games?... I think that the ps3 is a little ahead of the game... which means it costs way too much. as for the game selection... it's basically the same as the 360... but it doesn't have forza... and gears of war... and halo.

everything else the 360 has for exclusive doesn't matter... those are the only significant games.

anyway.. I think the 360 will win this battle... but the battle isn't over yet, and it has the potential to win.

Well, PS3 drops to $499 monday.
I think it needs to be cheaper than the Elite to have a Chance though... I might buy one once the games get serious.

like I said... there are only three... well I forgot guitar hero... so four games that the 360 has that really matter.

price is the only thing keeping me from getting the ps3... but cosidering how much better the hardware is than the other consoles... it seems to be the best, but that doesn't make it the winning console.
