Default i want a flash zune now...heres why

well my zune, great product of course its a bit bulkier then the ipod with belkins acrylic case, but hey its a great lil product, i put a bunch of movies from this forum on it and watch it through my living room tv, i dont take it places that often because i dont want to drop it @ my friends house where i am their almost daily(cement floors)

anyway, i want a flash zune because it would be smaller and probably nearly alot of the same features at a capacity i would love 4-8+ gigs.

anyway, my zune has given me some very good peformance over the months. and since then i have boughten other mp3 players(flash based) and they suck or my computer ****s them up.

i bought a creative zen stone, a 1gig screenless shuffle player. $40 not too bad... 1 month after i had it, it no longer turns off and is not recognized by my computer, i am unsure why and the company wants me to send it back to them since walmart does not take mp3 player back after 15 days and i have to send the company a $25 check.

so i was like, **** it i got some $ from a birthday recent and bought a zen V plus thinking oh hey this is a better player from the same company tons more features its like one of their older products so it means they probably perfected the design(stone is like 2months old not even...) so i buy it goto a friends home charge the lil bastard for like 30mins use the radio for like 2mins battery dies i come home charge it through my usb hub use it the next day for like less then 4 hours, come home after going up town for like 1-2 hours and it wont turn on.

it is now forever dead it appears, i plugged it in over night again in my front usb port... nothing. left it plugged in at a friends for like an hour... no sign of anything.

seriously, i charge my zune through the same usb hub, i use a wall adapter on my zune as well occasionally, my friends dad has a digital cable recieve with a usb port that will charge it and ive used it on 2 other friends computers.

my zune has definately been sleeping around a hell of alot more then the other 2 players i bought, and its fine not a damn thing wrong with it.

so thats my story, but i have come to the conclusion that the zune must be a better product nothing else makes sense to me(if you can explain why the other players might have failed please do so)

i just wish the draco player would come out at the end of this month... if it had 4gigs a radio a CLOCK and a book marking feature. i would so buy it. provided it was like $150 give or take a bit.

i am so disappointed with creative, i loved the products while they worked, i am considering buying another V+ watching the music files i put in it incase they are corrupted and leaving its usb sync cable in my front usb port just as a precaution since i have no exact idea how this **** happened. but let me tell you, if the draco zune came out next week with the exact same features, and cost's $20 more, id go with the draco over the V+ without hesitation.

maybe its because of their crappy batteries . . . hopefully the draco can be used as a massive storage device . . . unlike zune which you need to crack . . .

Cool

I hate when people say the Zune is 'bulky'.
Bulky compared to what? An iPod?

Well stick a radio, wi-fi, larger screen, and a more durable case in one and see if that 'ideal' ipod is the same size...

why, yeah thats is exactly what my post compared it to. personally i have no problem with the zunes original size, but the acrylic case is like adds like 35% total height to the player, and like less then a quarter inch to its width.

i love its natural feel, feels soo good. i really dont see it being much better vs an ipod without the case.

anyway. i use the case for protect and trust me, it works. but i want a flash zune badly, i just want a product that works with tons of features.

oh i liked the player yes, but sadly the interface sucked slightly and the joystick i disliked but, the features my god... amazing.

if they only released the draco i would have bought it. because my zune has yet to let me down.
