They're both a cancer unto the world of electronics and should immediately be removed.

Something tells me that "L33t" chooses Pirates over ninjas

Come on, any 313375 would go and see the problems with Linux and make their own OS that has some power and does what they need.

L337,
Have you even tried Linx? If not, I'd suggest you do. Start off with Ubuntu first. Mac does suck because they're a pain when it comes to networking to a MS server, and none of the Adobe software takes up the PC compatable fonts. I just hate fools in the office who hardly know how to use a PC say that the Mac is slicker.... when they don't even know how much money and effort we had to splash on that POC, just to make it work. Not only that, it'll be supersceded within about a year..... You're not really 1337, if you havn't tried Linux.

Yeah we had that conversation at work again, so I showed her Beryl..... and Macs are slick no more. The damn G5 at work wouldn't see anything in the windows network and we had to buy Dave to get it working, and it doesn't even see all the printers either.... Bad choice i think on the office's behalf, splashing unneccessary cash..... If they're reading this: Hey! Instead of buying expensive macs, how about a raise?

I see hating Mac, but linux? I've said it numerous times... you get what you pay for, but (I say this as a Networking and Security professional) some flavors of Linux and Unix are a better choice to use with web servers than Windows. Don't get me wrong, I love Microsoft and would love to have a job with them. I adore their products and love their software, but the only thing I would use Windows Server for is e-mail (because I can't stand lotus notes) and Active Directory Services. Pretty much, in the network I administrate, I set up all Windows machines for workstations, and run Windows Server 2003 RC2 machiness as the main servers. They handle all client information linked together in a simple Microsoft Access 2007 database from one of the servers, and handle all credentials on another. Since I do link together the servers, I do form an extranet while connecting to the web server. The clients are able to check their balances, previous orders, and other things from their home or office. One of the best things about this is the inclusion of Kerberos. Since WS2003 RC2, XP, Linux, and Unix are all able to run this security protocol, I can run it with minimal problems. Hope I didn't get too technical :-p lol
