Default bought mine on middle east trip

well, i thought about getting a zune from the US, but when i was traveling in the middle east i saw they had it at the airport in dubai, so i got 2 of them. sold one here in ebay which gave me a good discount on the second one ;-)

i guess they are bringing it to europe before christmas (if they are smart)

reason for buying? curiosity. i guess it will turn out to be really cool if we are able to run homebrew stuff on it. and the WIFI is definitely a good reason to buy it...

no homebrew as of yet...

but it's a cool device anyway, and I hope you like it.

I totally agree with you. Good thing there are ways, e.g. eBay and such...

Microsoft announced the Zune to be released in Europe in the beginning of 2008, which is a long wait... It would be better indeed to do it around Christmas!

I think they aren't selling this generation of zune in europe at all.

I think that america was an experiment, and they're checking to see what the consumer wants. They didn't want to release something that only one country wanted... and end up having all the other countries hate it.

Like I said, europe probably wont see the first gen.
