then they would call the Zune a copy of the Sansa. Anyway what the Zune nedds to do is allow some sort of communication like IM or voice chat.

Then it needs to bump up it's pixels to 1024x950 and just kill.

The sansa was created for the Wi-Fi and thus it owns in Wi-Fi. But it has no radio so...and no big screen. And it's 4GB

So the Zune tires to go into more than one area while the sansa basically excels in one and sucks in all the others.

Not sure about having such high resolution, it's just going to slow the device down. The screen itself is 320x240 so it's never going to exceed that. What would be good is for 640x480 to be accepted too though, so that playback on TVs is better. I think Microsoft wanted it to have less restrictions on wi-fi sharing but Universal would have none of it. So of course, there are going to be less-restricted players coming along that don't have music selling licensing issues to worry about.

I belive it still needs voice chat and pehaps internet. But the features of the Sansa are cool.

yes i wish the Zune's wireless features were a little better also.

the whole 3 plays in 3 days rule is a joke. i can understand having this rule for songs downloaded from the marketplace, but not songs on cd's that i've ripped. i hope someone finds a way to hack this asap!

Cool

I think wireless syncing is a retarded use of wi-fi. Why are you gonna waste battery power to sync it, when you're gonna need to plug it in anyway? Lame...Syncing while plugging and charging "kills two birds with one stone" I think Sandisk didn't think that one out long enough. I think it would be a step backwards if Zune were to get it.

I agree the wi-fi feature could be better but how? The interface really would be slow to send text messages. Fill stations? That idea failed with cell phones a long time ago. I'm not sure how the wi-fi could be enhanced.....

Filling stations would rock. Simply because no one else has it and for some reason the american people see mp3s on a cell phone and mp3s on a mp3 player as two different things. And the iPod can't do that so every1 one is looking for Zune to beath the iPod in some way. if it doen't well they won't like it.

Everything will be compaired to the iPod

Wireless sharing with XBOXs is important and wireless downloads. This is what the consumer wants, and also will help bridge the gap better between zune and xbox using the points.

It would be nice if you wanted to sync a couple of images or songs at a time. I bring my data line to work for charging and would like to be able to go home without it and sync a couple of things. Having the ability to do both would be great!
