Brown Zune Recalled!

Apparently an inner store memo was sent to my store a few days ago, stating that many Brown Zunes have been recalled... not sure why, or what ones were affected... but hey... there's a recall... lol

I There's a recall you shouldn't need a reciept as you have a serial number on the Zune, and no zune is older then 8 months, so unless you've opened it it still will be under warranty. BUt also if they do a recall it doesn't matter if it's 1 mnth old or 10 years old, as long as it falls into the recall specs your good. They'll give a list of effected serial numbers out so you can verify if yours is effected. They won't recall every brown Zune, or they would of stopped producing Brown zunes.

Just got off the phone. The dude said there's no recall & you guys are retarded...so is whoever started this. If there was, there'd be loads of articles about how the iPod was never recalled & stuff. So your brownies are safe, for now.

That's kinda funny... because the memo that was passed around to my store specifically stated brown Zune that were sold by GameStop and EBGames within a specific time period were in fact being recalled by corporate for some reason. If we still have the memo, I'll scan it and post it. The memo said all recalled Zunes (Brown) are to be sent in by the following Wednesday, no exceptions. So before you call me retarded, think of what stores have sold them. If you noticed, I was relying on many of the active users to see it (as many of them do know where I work). I also stated that I did not know which were affected, or why they are being recalled.
