Default 360 Backups

My computer teacher was wondering how you create "backups" of 360 games. I dont own a 360 so I haven't a clue except it is probably not as easy as copying a xbe file to a CD -R ......... is it?

It's an involved process to be sure. The best thing to do would be refer your teacher to xbox-scene.com for information.

I actually have a few friends who mod 360's and "backup" their games. I'll be sure to ask them how they do it tomorrow at school.

Short version - It involves flashing a new firmware to the DVD drive using a PC.
The executables are no longer XBEs, they are XEXs. The big thing with the 360 backups is it involves special security sectors on the discs and you have to back them up with specific formats based on what firmware you use on you drive.

Long version - www.xbox-scene.com FTW
