ipod... hmmm.....

now that i have the zune.. im wondering what i should do with my old ipod mini

i wouldnt mind keeping it just as a 4gb portable hard drive.. but i want to mod it in some way..

anybody have any suggestions.. anything really, just interested in your ideas

I use mine if I'm gonna be out hiking or something. That way if I do something and kill it, at least it's not my Zune.

You could turn it into a Flash Based iPod by replacing the Micro-Drive with a Compact Flash Drive.. The battery life would increase substantially, And the mini would be less vulnerable to failure.. Full Instructions: LINK

Hmm, use it as a portable hard drive, or disassemble it.

Crack it open
Poke around at its gizzards
Maybe then afterwards microwave it
Then tie some firecrackers too it and set them off
Then maybe for sh*ts and giggles send it to apple
And claim that you recieved the ipod as is
Or Just a nice letter explaining that ipods sucks and ZUNE is the best

lol. u should make it flash baised, and just use it as a portalble hd all be it a little one (gb size wise)
