Zune doesn't reflect dSHARPiE Metadata Settings

I've used dSHARPiE to correct the metadata tags for most of my music videos now, and I must say the program is a pretty decent one.

However, when I actually sync the videos, none of them show any artist information. All my videos say "Unknown Artist". The Zune software reflects the changes I've made, and even clicking on the properties of the files on my Zune shows the artists names...

But not my Zune itself. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like dSHARPiE allows you to add the "Actors" or "Contributing Artist" field. This does not get displayed on the Zune. I'd guess the Zune looks for "Album Artist" (just like it does for music).
Also - the Release Year doesn't display correctly either (I think it displays the file creation year).

I wouldn't go to too much trouble getting everything looking good now. I bet MS will correct a lot of this in their Spring update. For now, leave those fields blank and put your info in the Title or Description fields.

zMeta won't work either. It has a field called "Actors", but nothing displays on the Zune.

I also noticed that it was showing the wrong year, but I forgot to mention it. Hopefully MS will fix this. It's annoying because the videos that came with my Zune are displayed properly, but videos I add I have to put the artist into the video title or half of them I won't know who it is!

Thanks for confirming this issue though.

oooo..yeah I thought you meant that it wasn't allowing you to edit anything. but yeah, the year thing and actors thing is screwed up.
