Been some time since I got my Zune

I got my Zune on November 17 of 2006. Yes, i know you are propably wondering "why the heck is he writing a review after so long?!" Well, this has given me enough time to get the pros and cons of the Zune.

I used to own an iPod mini before its battery decided to give up on me. Althouhg the Zune is a LOT better then the iPod mini, and propably every other iPod ever made, i still had some problems with it.
1. No clock, yes i dont wear a clock, and i hate having to look at my cell phone everytime i want to check.
2. No organizer or word file viewer of any sort.
3. and last but not least, no way to view lyrics and sort.
4. New Firmwares need to come out quick, and the 3/3 rule. >.<

Why i love the Zune more then the iPod.

1. The screen is just...spectacular. Its so bright and perfect, getting dust on it is like hurting my self. xDD
2. The layout and the way everything is set up is just amazing, MUCH better then the iPod.
3. I actually liked the scroll wheel, but the D-pad on the Zune is so much better.
4. I love holding it, it just feels so cool in my hands.

Although the Zune has some flaws, it still in its early stages, meaning there are MUCH better things to come, for example a browser, games, and a clocl[:p].
I didnt think i would actually like the Zune this much. I got it because my friend was going to get it, and it seemed fun to send songs and what not. Its much more then that now, my Zune is a part of me and i love it. A LOT better then the iPod, and way more fun to listen to. =]

Around school, loads of people have walked in and gone 'Dam what's that thing? It's huge!', then they've had a play with it and they too have found it to be easier to navigate (EG, more intuitive), have loved the screen and have made a big deal about the quality of it, and they leave saying 'How much is that?...'.

yea, this guy at staples did that to me. I went up to him im like "do u have any Zune cases"
hes like "yea, in the storeroom....u have a Zune?"
"yup"
"how is it, its a beautiful piece of equipment isnt it?"
"yup"

i wonder what he would've said if it was an iPod. Oh wait..nothing.
