Features
Will be able to send media files (images, music, videos) from Zune-to-Zune via WiFi. If the media files have Zune DRM they will only be enabled for usage for either three days or three plays, whichever of those that comes first.
Ability to flag tracks received from Zune-to-Zune transfer, for download from the Zune Marketplace.
Able to play movies and videos
Automatically detects and adjust display to either portrait or landscape, based on whether it is being held horizontal or vertical.
Updatable firmware
Ability to create profiles/tags, now called "Zunetags".
The Zune will feature the ability to synchronize with an Xbox 360
The wallpaper on the Zune can be changed to any user specified image
The Zune will have Podcast capabilities.[6]
On September 11th, 2006 over 200 podcasts had "Microsoft Zune (firmware 0.9 beta)" listed as a client for subscribing and downloading. This may indicate that the Zune will feature podcasts and hints that it is enabled with in the device through Wi-Fi.

looks and size wise, a turn off .. i think would only appeal to geeks, which aren't many

The size doesnt matter too much to me when I see that nice big screen. And the being able to dectect when it is horizantal or vertical capability is awesome.

I can't wait to put full length movies on here, it'll make things easier when u & a friend want to watch a movie on a trip or something, the iPod screen is just way too small!
