Good birthday presents for a girl?

I need some good ideas about what to get this girl for her birthday that's soon

. Last year we went to her favorite band's concert, but nothing is going on this year. I have no ideas so I'm open for suggestions haha. Thanks.

Well, ideally, you would get to know her likes and dislikes and make a judgment based upon that, but seeing as how you're asking here, I'm betting that you haven't

I would say that jewelry is always a good gift, depending on how close you are with this person.

She likes clothes, music (hip hop, pop), movies (any genre, not so much scary or horror though), she plays some video games (has a ps2 and xbox) but not many (pretty much only rock band, DDR), and of course shes really smart so she likes school.

I just don't want to do something cheesy.

-Dinner and a movie
-A massage (either by you or a professional lol)
-I don't know a girl who doesn't love candles/Bath & Body Works/flowers

-Jewelry or perfume is a good idea too. Maybe let her pick out the perfume but you can pay for it.

honestly when i saw the lil wayne avatar i assumed it was a dude.. just like how another new member thought Seb was a girl..

I hate birthdays, personally. Best gift for me is to just not mention it at all.

But since not everyone is like me, maybe a bunch of comp CDs of music she likes. And chocolate. Can't go wrong with chocolate unless she's allergic. Maybe a plushie of her favourite animal..

im actually going to go visit my friend that recently moved and take her out to lunch for her birthday. she said she would try to teach me how to surf too

I will assume you are at least 16 years old and can drive. Even if its not on her birthday plan something for another day and let her know this.

Assuming you guys are pretty close (dating or not) take her downtown for a night of fun, and treat her like she is your princess. Open doors for her and walk up to her door when you are going to pick her up, and hand her a rose (sounds cliche but actually no guy really does it anymore and they get a kick out of it). Go to a indie coffee shop and just talk for a little while and kill some time. Then maybe find a local theater downtown that plays oldschool horror flicks, or a movie in the park kind of deal. There are plenty of free or almost free and romantic things to do downtown if you know where to look. As a gift you could preorder two tickets to her favorite artist in the future and give them to her like after the movie.
