Okay. I have my longish hair that i've come to like. Everyone on my moms side of the family pretty much likes it, But on my dads side its completely different. They HATE it, and would do anything for me to cut it. I dont wanna get it cut, but when im outside it sure would be nice to have short hair. What do you think i should do? Im tired of hearing my dads side of the family complain, But i kinda like my hair.
One side of the head short, other side of the head long... tell them it is a compromise, something they can't seem to do in life... worrying about hair.

That's exactly what I was going to post . Long hair typically doesn't look professional.
Face it. People love to bitch about anything and everything. Even if you cut your hair, they would still find something to bitch about that either is on you, you have done, doing, intend to do, etcetera.
Better to live your life your way then to give in to the whiners, even the ones with familial ties.

Cut your long hair you damn hippie. My friend used to have long hair for like 7 years, but ever since he cut it short he's never going back.
1) It keeps your head cooler
2) Way less maintenance
3) It's much more professional if you're looking for work
