Always get a second opinion when messing with psychiatrists and psychologists because one wrong med means a problem that wasn't there is now there.

Example:

People with true clinical depression have a chemical imbalance in the brain that is rectified through medication. If this medication is given to people without the imbalance it will cause the imbalance to the healthy individual or other negative effects.

True, but since 1st grade I used to be up all night crying and sometimes screaming because I heard so many weird noises. My mom yelling, footsteps in the hallway, people talking outside.

It only happens at my house though. Everywhere else I'm OK. At my dad's, I had one problem where I saw people standing, or a lion coming out of the wall one night but I was very stressed when it happened. Now at my mom's I'm hearing voices again, so that's why I believe him.
