Third Times a charm?

Should I try to get a third prom date with about a week until prom.
I have had two prom dates so far, the first left me for dirt, second's mom won't let her go because "she's too expensive"
I have been working weekends since January so I could take a date and I am Junior Class President so I have worked on a lot of prom stuff.

So should I get another date and hope she'll stick?

you should try again.. but young relationships don't usually last long....

why dont you just go by yourself and hang out with friends?

chances are, people have already made plans.

if you don't, you'll probably regret it for the rest of your life. Prom is an important part of life. You need to find a date, you're not ugly so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding someone to go out with you. Keep trying till you get a bite (finding a prom date can be like fishing, it may take days before you catch anything good)

Litterally every Junior in my class has a date. I go to a private school, I have 4 options(girls to choose from) right now

I would say do it, you are going to enjoy being with your friends anyways.

And runtohell those ellipses are annoying as hell. Why do you put those after every idea?

Just do what I did - go with friends. Yes, I could have gotten a date, but I rather just go and have fun.

Though, I got to laugh at two of my friends. They went as a couple, and the girl is really tall, and the guy is really short. When a slow song came on, it was hilarious. They tried to dance... but they quickly gave up.

Good times. I only spent $23 total that night, not including the ticket and tux.
