Default Honors Algebra II?

I've got to take a test to try and get into Honors Algebra II, tomorrow after school.

Anyone know how I could get ready for it?

Umm.. heh. Honors Alg II was.. Iunno,
I slept through majority of the class.. >.>

Well, just review everything you've gone
over. Make sure you know your equations
and how to work those equations. Umm..
I dunno what else to tell you as I've
never studied except once (for JROTC
Knowledge Bowl >.> What I studied wasn't
even what we covered). HR Algebra II was
cake. I slept through most of it, and I still
got one of the highest grades in the class
(It's funny 'cause at my school, it was
generally a Junior class and I took it my
sophomore year. The other kid, one of
my best friends, who got the other highest
grade, was also a sophomore).

Oh yea, get some sleep the night before,
so you don't go nodding off during the
test like I do, and eat something beforehand.
Hunger pains are a bitch. Also, if they let
you use your own calculator, make sure
you've got fresh batteries in it.

eat breakfast, sleep well, and study enough

also if you have a TI-89 or 8* calculator put in all the formulas you need in as a program and read it during the test

Ah, yes, Algebra 2. I remember those days... Get some sleep, eat breakfast, and find review whatever is going to be on the test. There are a lot of websites that can help you if you have any problems.

you're in JROTC?! me too! it sux we have to wear uniform tho, they're so uncomfortable. do u have to wear them?

and... eat breakfast and sleep well like they said, and a trick: memorize only the formulas dont study every problem u cant think of, just memorize the formulas cause all the problems are gonna be based on those formula.

Purplemath.com for one. Sorry, I thought you'd just use google. I don't know any other websites, though I'm sure there are more. It's been awhile since Algebra II for me. I have bigger stuff to deal with. Like Multivariable Calculus. Yay!

They won't tell us who made it until the end of the year

Well, day one was like taking a Spanish test,
I knew some stuf, and for the stuff I didn't know, I made it look like I knew what I was doing, and guessed

The second day, was easier, even they were story problems

~Thanks for the imput people

I have an 84 Silver, as well.
One difference I'm aware of
between the 83s and 84s and
the 89s is that the 89 is capable
of deeper calculations. For
instance, if you try entering 100!
into an 83 or 84, you'll get an
overflow error. However, an
89 will be able to calculate that
problem fully. But that's off-topic.

The 89 can also do calculus, I believe. Real calculus, not nDERIV and fnINT.

The TI-89 has a Computer Algebra System. It can do real algebra and calculus better than most (nearly all) people. It has more memory, a better GUI, can do 3D and slope fields, has pretty print that uses the sort of notation you do on paper. The programs aren't compatible with the 83. It has alot more memory and multiple letter (alphanumeric, starting with letter) variables. Basically, it pwns the 83.

The 84 just has more memory than the 83 really

Get enough sleep, and eat a good breakfast. For studying you could go over what you already know a lot.

Ti-89's are amazing. I had an 83 but going into high school 89 was required so I got one. I had to use an 83 for a week and it really sucked. Do 84's have the solve feature? Definitely one of my favorites but I couldn't find it on the 83 plus I have.

Also, Algebra II was really easy as a class I heard. I skipped it and went straight to precal because you really don't learn anything new at all.
