[SOLVED] Abnormality..

I've been thinking.. well, it seems the only thing I can think about.. but it's scaring me. Lately, every time I think of it, I get a kind of fluttering feeling in my chest. I mean literally.. It's not like my heartbeat quickens or anything, or it might be, I'm not entirely sure.

That's not safe, is it?

I dunno.. I've mentioned it to a couple people, but no one's really said anything about it..

The problem with that is that I don't have a doctor. My mum's decided to wait until she gets a job to put me on any sort of medical assistance/insurance. I dunno when that's gonna be. =/

I always get weird feelings in my body, but that might be because I could be considered "under weight" Chances are you're fine, but you could always look up the symptoms on WebMD, they should have something.

Well I'd get it checked but sometimes I have that happen to me.

No, it isn't painful.. It's hard to describe. It's kind of like.. you know if you get startled really badly, you can feel it in your chest? It's like that. =/

Maybe a weak heart? You should be able to get a free examination at your local clinic.

I know the feeling you're talking about. It could be due to blood-pressure, and since the doctor thing is out of the picture, go try one of the blood-pressure meters the have at malls and pharmacies. It'll atleast put you at rest knowing you've done something.

it might not be bad. i get that sometimes, because (this is going to sound weird, but its not meant that way) some things stimulate you in different ways without you noticing, so to let you know, your heart quickens. or, when you get bored, in self-defense, your heart will quicken to get blood pumping to the places where it may be lacking.
but be careful. unless it gets painful, you shouldnt stress. stress makes it worse too.

Wow... I get exactly the same thing! Like Saline said it might be something do with blood pressure; i have extremely veiny arms (If i open and close my hand really fast whilst holding the top of my arm, i make my blood vessels stick out loads).

There are a lot of free clinics. Try to find one in your area.

Well zombii I don't have any suggestions really, but a friend of mine has had that happening for a couple of years, probably 5 times a month or so, she described it in the same way you did. She went to the doctor, and he told her that she just had a stress disorder and gave her medication, which didn't help her at all. She just lives with it now, but I've been around her when it happens and it's scary

I hope everything is alright (I'm sure it is), and that it goes away or that you get a good explanation for why this is happening to you!
