Lets just say that the Senior Prom is comming soon and you still don't have a date. You have someone in mind but you have not talk to her in a while. It would be very awkward just to ask her out. She also happens to go to another school. I am not sure what to do right now. Any sugestions?
How soon? like 2 weeks or less?
if 2 weeks i think you could start talking to her through like aim or myspace, then after a week or so ask her if she wants to hang out sometime and ask her then.
Basically what mark just said. Start talking to her ASAP, and ask her when the time is right. Don't waste your time, this is your senior prom. A very big highlight of your life.

I say you should talk to her, get to know her for a while and THEN ask her. Best place to start to talk to someone is on Facebook! "I saw your face on my Friends list update and I just had to talk to you again! How are you" Example.

o, and prom is rated good or bad based on the after-prom, the actual prom has lil to do with it so choose wisely : p
Hopefully you're prom isn't soon and you have time to talk to her and she can get her dress if she hasn't got one already even though that's probably unlikely.
Trust me, just ask. I ended up not going to mine. But now im with the girl i wanted to ask, but was embarrassed to. That was like 3 years ago. And she wanted to go with me, but i didnt know, and now I regret not going to my senior prom

Anyways.....start slowly....I know everyone already said this, but it's really the best thing to do. You know she'll say yes when you can make her laugh. But don't try to hard, it's noticable.

My senior year was spent in a different state in a new school. I did not go to Senior Prom as I had no inclination to nor any desire. I saved myself some hassle with suits and stuff. I just skipped to going out with a girl part and calling it a "good night".

I am my class president and I am a junior so I get to plan the prom for my school...yay?
I think we are going to an 80s themed prom though so it should be fun and I am going to ask in the simple, "You, me, prom." kinda way
