jengatime, look in \windows\system32\drivers for wpdusb.sys.backup and WudfRd.sys.backup. These 2 files are needed for the Zune to work in Windows. I ran into this issue with another patcher as it appears to have renamed those 2 files. After that, my Zune was never recognized properly in the device manager. Rename them without the .backup at the end (may need to reboot). If that doesn't fix it, try removing it from the device manager and then have the device manager search for new hardware.
