Ha, yeah, search is pretty much worthless on stuff like this.
Definitely sounds like a battery problem. Doesn't seem to be holding a charge.
Unfortunately, it might have to be replaced. Replacement batteries can be bought off eBay and you can even spring for ones that hold more charge then the factory default if you want to go all out. Or, a safer, better method would be to send that sucker into Microsoft and if you're under the warranty still, it'll be free.
