This will explain how to convert any video you happen to have on your computer into a high quality, Zune ready video that will not require conversion whilst syncing.
1. Getting a Converter
First thing you'll need is a video converter to change your files that aren't in a Zune-ready format (such as .avi), into a Zune-ready format (.wmv).
2. Changing WinAVI's Settings
It's simple enough, just change the settings by following these steps:
--Click "wmv"
--Find your file
--Click "Advanced"
--Click "WMV Encoder", then change the settings to match what is in this picture:
---Hit "OK" and wait for the video to convert 100%.
Be sure to check the file first, make sure everything is how you want it.
3. Change the Metadata
Download
zMeta from our Tools section. (You'll need WinRAR, see the beginning of the next step) Open it, and hit "Open files" or "Open Directory" and select the file/folder.
--Hit "Videos", then right click the file and select "Set as Movie".
--Click the file on the left, and edit the data. It's best to use a source like
imDB to make accurate info, or you can just do basic info, like Title.
--Once you're done, hit "Close Files" at the top, and close zMeta.
Hope this helped for all you video converting newbies ; )
