This is what my system (at those specs, I have recently moved to an FX-60) would cost at current prices:
Case: Lian-Li $189.99
Motherboard (MSI no longer makes the mother board I have so this is a comparative motherboard from ASUS: Asus A8n SLI $133.99
Processor: AMD X2 4600+ $255
RAM: Patriot Memory Signature Series $214.99
Hard Drive: WD 80 GB $43.99
Video Cards: BFGTech 7600GT X2 $288.98
Power Supply: PC Power & Cooling I have the Turbocool 510, but it looks like they don't sell it anymore... ran around $280 when new/got mine a few months old from a friend for $75
Optical Drive: CD/DVD burner I have a different NEC one, but it's not on Newegg, but this one is similar.
Cooling: Thermaltake Big Water SE $109.99
VGA blocks: VGA blocks X2 $57.98
That's it I believe....if I forgot something I'll edit later
All together it's about $1400. Although I did manage to snag the mobo open box for about $115 and the PC Power & Cooling PSU for $75. I also bought the water cooling kit retail...which was more expnesive, but whatever, it's said and done now.
