Sounds like a case of rushing to market. It's sad that this is the norm for business now. However, at least now it's possible to fix it without returning it to the manufacturer.

yeah, true, but it's still left to see if it's truly just a firmware issue, or has Apple tried to cram too much crap in it? Seriously, cover flow, which I would imagine, takes up a chunk of cached memory...a long with playing music at the same time...could it be possible that this first iteration of a watered-down 'mobile' mac OS is not all that it's cracked up to be?
Did you watch the
announcements? They totally skipped showing the performance of the new OS...quickly switching to other features...and price... And if you did watch the announcements, was it me or was the reaction to the new models not that excited?
