Zune Boards - View Single Post - Creative's Loss Widens Thanks to Zune and iPod

Creative Technology Ltd. which creates the Zen MP3 players has posted a another loss which makes 5 in 6 quarters. June 30th saw the loss increase to $19.3 million - the highest it's been in 11 years.

Creative's CEO Sim Wong Hoo noted the cometition from Apple's iPod and Zune contributed to the loss. The Singapore-based company will respond with cutting inprofitable models and corporate restructuring.

Well, the Zune may not be an iPod killer (yet) but it's causing some collateral damage....
