Actually I got my Xbox 360 from a site like this. I had to sign up for 5 things and had multiple choices of what to choose(Coupon Book,2 Gift Card seller, blockbuster videos, BMG music) I cancelled the gift cards and blockbuster after a free months trial, got some CDs and saved money with the Coupon book. I did setup a yahoo email account for this promotion (which I was skeptical about) and got flooded with junk email. But after 2 months of waiting, I received my Xbox 360. I do agree that there are fake sites out there but there are legitimate sites as well.
