Nah. You don't really have to worry about damage occuring from it being powered on all the time. It is perfectly safe to leave it on  . |
I'm just scared that the 'Connected' and the dots will get burned into the screen.
Just now, I was able to turn off my Zune while it was connected.
Press/hold the back button and down-left. Turns it right off.
