ya thats what i was thinking, the electromagnetic static, cuz if i remember right it gives off this wave i forget exactly what it was but its to do with the hd, and the reason it blocked most the signal from laying it next to it is cuz the top has the lcd and other things to sort filter/block out, and also for the back same thing, the side is in a way open thus giving more radiation *radiation meaning emitting some thing*
