It is not that subjective. Otherwise, why not just say that clicking a mouse button is not simple? If someone wants to do something (technology-related) that is not supposed to be done in the first place, they should be able to follow those steps. Except for explicitly saying "click on that tab, click on that button", it does not get any simpler than that. Also, I am only talking about steps 1 through 5, since that is what most people would have to do.

People are just paranoid. If someone is not capable of following simple steps and somehow screw up their registry, they deserve it.

There is no reason for someone to be terrified of ruining their registry unless they delete a bunch of keys that they are not supposed to, in which case they would be complete morons and hopefully that would cause their computer to not work anymore, temporarily sparing the rest of us from their stupidity.

If I seem a bit too harsh, that is because I have a zero-tolerance policy for stupidity. Of course, I am not calling anyone here an idiot.
