Zune Boards - View Single Post - Erased music on hard drive but still have it on my zune

Ok - I guess one is due to do something really stupid in life once, and hopefully only once.

So I needed to move some files from computer's hard drive to make space. I decided I'd move some files onto my portable drive. The portable drive is where I backed up my music for my system. I deleted the file on my portable drive and I don't know how it did it but the file on my hard drive somehow was linked and both were deleted. Since the music files were so big they could not be placed into the recycle bin so I had to choose to permanently delete them, but again I thought I was deleting the portable drive and not taking the harddrive music with it.

Now the thing here is my Zune 120 still has all the music on it but I'm arfaid to just hook it back up to the computer.

Also, I tried to do a system restore but it didn't work.
