I had that happen to me too, trying to help a friend downgrade his Zune. Installing the full package fixed his problem.

Canberra25, I have the same problem with the other guy, where I am at the updating page for the last 20 mins, is that normal?
When I was prepping for the install, I was able to locate the 3 baseline cab files!
And, where do you find the "full package" for Zune 3.x ? I have the 131mb install file that I downloaded from the zune official site, is that the full package? if not, where can I find the package?
