Default [SOLVED] Some songs play gaplessly; others don't. But they're all the EXACT same form

The vast majority of my music collection is trance mixes, ripped from gapless CD's. So although they are separated into different tracks, the CDs are gapless so it's one big seamless mix.

ALL of my CDs have been ripped with Windows Media Player, in 192kbps WMA format. Every single track. Seeing as the Zune software and the Zune itself supports gapless for WMA, I thought gapless would work at fine.

And it does... but only half the time.

The issue is quite simple: In a single album, some songs will be gapless. Between other songs, though, you will hear a split-second pause. What exactly is going on here?

It's THE SAME songs that do this, too. It blows my mind. If you listen to a lot of the albums I personally ripped and put on my zune, the first few tracks will play gaplessly. Then between track 6 and 7 there will be a gap. Same with between 7 and 8. But then after track 8, the rest of the album is gapless again. Except for the very last track.

It's just so bizarre to me! They're all ripped with the same program in the same WMA format, so howcome some of the songs play gaplessly as expected and others decide not to? I just don't get it. It does this with ALL of my CD's too. Random tracks are gapless while others aren't.

Additionally, it behaves the exact same way on both the Zune software on my computer and on my Zune hardware itself. With the exact same songs too.

If anyone can shine some light on this subject then please help, thanks.
