When we finish we definitely would NOT name it Doom or Counter-strike or Quake 3 or anything like that. We want this game to be something unique seeing as it will be the first "fps" for the Zune. I will say it now: IF ANYONE THINKS THAT THIS WILL BE A MMO OR HALF-LIFE PROJECT OR DOOM 3, PLEASE THINK AGAIN.
@Locodoso: Read the above. The only thing this game will have in common with Doom is it's first person shooter quality. If we even ATTEMPTED to make a Doom for Zune we would be shot down for copyright issues and the stealing of the name blah blah blah.
Don't be offended or anything, just know that this is something new and/or unique and it should Not be associated with any "big-time" games. In fact (and this is for everyone), do NOT expect this to be a high quality game like the others. To make this game we are using a different technique that may or may NOT appeal to the users. We will ask for feedback when we release a version. Right now, what we need most are people willing to help out.
@Leefy: I think one of the first things we should do is
PM the guys who were willing to help out with it the first time. The would probably be happy to see it in action again.
