AI can be implemented much more effectively for many other, less complicated games.

My BE-300 (166 MHz, 12 MB RAM) can easily run a chess program with decent AI. Would the Compact .NET Framework once again be the destroyer of dreams in this case? I have no idea how much slower the Compact .NET Framework is compared to pure native code.
