If all I want to do is play music through my PC or sync an mp3 player with music, why should I have to buy expensive computer parts or a whole new pc all together if I only want to sync my music player?

Also: Zune Software never runs anywhere near 86k for me. I'm playing music on it right now and it's at exactly 52k.
What I said is that if your computer cannot run iTunes properly, then it's probably having issues in many other areas. If your computer is decent and up-to-date then the resources that iTunes requires shouldn't be killing your computer.
