Again, I did NOT wipe my Zune's memory and firmware, simply re-installed it while keeping all the songs intact.
I don't know if this will work for anyone else but it's worked for me. Seems like a VERY VERY simple solution to this problem... much simpler than the whole wipe thing obviously. I suggest everyone try it if they're still having these problems.

One of the forumers up in the help boards came up with this solution. If this is case, we may have an early solution to the bugs in 3.0
before MS releases 3.1. And the only way to find out is to try. The good news is, you don't lose anything by doing this, so for those of you who are frustrated by perpetual bugs-poor stkr : p-you should go for this and see what happens. Make sure to post here to see if it worked.
EDIT: Well, it worked for stkr who probably had the most consistent bugs of anyone. That makes me happy. Now, for those of you who don't know where "Install Games" is, do this:
Connect the Zune
Go to Settings in the software
Click Device
Click Device Update on the left section
Click the Install Games button
