I have:
Vista Ultimate
A wireless Netgear router
Successfully synched via USB cable to this PC
Checked that the required services are running and set to automatic
Configured my router to accept the Zune's MAC address, and configured the Zune with the required network settings including WPA key
Uninstalled and reinstalled the Zune driver

One odd thing:
When I manually re-installed the Zune driver, I noticed an option to install a wireless Zune driver. Upon selecting this driver, the installation of it fails with error code 10. I can't seem to get Windows to automatically install the wireless driver like it originally did with the wired driver. It's possible that until I can get this working, wireless sync is never going to work.

Suggestions please?
I got the wireless sync working on Vista - the firewall needs to be set up to allow the Zune to connect to the computer. to check this, press start, search for firewall and click on windows firewall. Then click on "Allow a program through Windows Firewall." Go to exceptions, make sure that Network discovery, wireless portable devices, and Zune Network Sharing Service are all checked. I made sure that Zune Wireless Configuration Service and Zune Network Sharing Service were started in Control Panel (classic view)/administrative tools/services. hope this helps if it is still an issue
