There's a zSuite out there that allows you to do this, and change font colors and many other things but I couldn't get it to work on my computer so I just went with the patch. You simply download the patch and save it to your Zune program file folder and then run the patch and it'll automatically give you the option to add your own custom background. The only drawback i'm seeing is that without being able to change the font color you're kind of limited on which backgrounds you can have since the default text color is black. I'm sure there's something I can do about that but it's not real high on my to do list so I'll just deal with it for now.
