It would REALLY be cool to have a radio recorder, just like my dad's and my sister's creative zen and sandisk (respectively).

Also, microsoft should stop being so uptight and "grumpy" about their device. Give people the ability to develop their own firmware, or at least give us more freedom to edit the one we're stuck with.

Web browsing is definitely a want...

by next firmware i HOPE that XNA will work a bit more seamlessly with the zune, not requiring a restart after you exit the game.

let us populate our zune and use it as a portable hard drive

let us access the system partition through the portable hard drive option

UNLOCK THE INTERNAL HARD DRIVE (seriously, why the hell did microsoft even implement that?)

i definitely agree with the ability to play avi. I would also like to be able to play flac files (yes, i know all about wma lossless, i just like to support good freeware)

a better equalizer. The creative zen has certain frequency ranges that it can boost, and the user can alter how much of each frequency to boost. I would like THIS equalizer option, and then the ability to name and save my equalizer settings, so i can select it easily among a number of multiple custom settings that i could make in the future.

Now, this may be a bit of an odd idea, but how about something like zune radio? Utilizing the zune 2 zune wifi, you can broadcast what ur listening to, and anyone with a zune in the area can choose to listen to your station. It would also be cool if the people listening to your "radio station" could rate it, either by stars, or by texting short comments that your zune would receive and save for you to view and see how people like your music. I think that this feature would actually be quite a bit more "social" than the lame "send a song for you to listen to 3 times."
I feel that because the above idea is "streaming music" and because the zune would not save it, that there should be no need for any limits on the songs to be broadcasted or to be listened to.

Well, those are my ideas. Hopefully i can see some in future updates!
