i bought my black zune 80 at circuit city, it was the only one on the shelf. even sony walkman's were more abundent there! when i took it out of the case, i noticed the squircle was twisted about 5 degrees clockwise. also, when i bought it, zune software 2.0 was out, and that version SUCKED! it took a hell of a long time to install/make a zune account. My "premium" headphones had a loud scraping noise that was carried through the cloth encased wires, and the noise occured everytime the headphone wire rubbed against my shirt. after two days, the premium headphones broke in one ear, and i had never even turned up the volume past 10. the zune's box and overall first impression on me was that it had significantly less quality than my old first gen. ipod nano 2gb. also, it was annoying that zune linux was (and still is) not out yet.

yeah and also the zune software for the computer was absolutely terrible in version2.0 itunes was honestly a bajillion times better, and now with 2.5, itunes is maybe 5x as good as zune, because it doesn't skip when you play music/videos and you can sync everything drm free.
(yea thats right i had some problems syncing some of my downloaded zunetv.net stuff)
also i was dissapointed that the bulky zune only holds 80 gb, while the ipod of the same size holds twice that memory, and is way more comfortable in ur hand.
