For one, a true Catholic may not talk down to people, they just have more "interesting" ways of getting people to convert or telling them that they are wrong. i.e. The European Witch Hunts, The Spanish Inquisition, The Crusades... Also, EVERY bible has books taken out of it Lacrosse_man. Look into the the Book of Jubilees (or sometimes called "Little Genesis"), The Infancy Gospel of Thomas, The Gospel of Mary (as in Mary Magdelene), The Apocalypse of Peter, The Book of Enoch, The Second Apocalypse of Peter, The Gospel of Judas. These are all books that were considered for inclusion in both Old and New Testaments and were all subsequently tossed to the side. Many of these book predate the books that people most commonly accept as the Biblical Canon and, in the case of Catholics, the Biblical Apocrypha.

I don't even know where to begin. Don't you see the double standard here? You claim that Islam is wrong and the Christianity is right. How can you discredit Islam all together when your religion follows the same principle idea that the Bible is right because it says it's right. In the case of Islam, the Koran is right because the Koran says it's right. There is no foundation of truth when the source sites itself as the reference. I'm not here to argue the existence of God or A god. I'm simply pointing out the fact that you can not discredit another religion and substantiate your when your religion is built on the same flimsy foundation.
