The best way to ship small parts is
1) get a holiday card from your collection of them from the charities
2) Stick the part you want to mail inside the post card
3) Write names and adresses
4) Seal it up
5) Post a ~$1.20CAD stamp for US or Permanent Canadian stamp ~53C CAD for Canada

Since post card don't have thickness requirement or weight requirement.. you can mail anything stuffed between the two layer of the post card that can fit inside a envelope.

I've successfully mailed and received RAM, CDS, Dvds, headphones, and other stuff inside it.
