The only thing I know about atheists is that they think there's no God and that evolution is how humanity started. So, all I was doing was asking people who HAVE talked to atheist's before what they thought would be the best thing to say. How am I going to know what would make more sense to you, I've never talked to an atheist in my entire life! So I needed a little help to know what to say, is that so bad?
But it shouldn't be about what other people say. It should be about what you feel and what you KNOW is the case based off of your understanding of your beliefs. Anyone can go to another source and say "tell me what to say" but because one person may tell you something that sounds good doesn't mean it's the truth or that it's right.

You're taking the word of someone else and using that to shape your argument and you saw how far that got you. After I explained it to you it really didn't make much sense did it? You took it at face value and didn't bother looking at from all sides before jumping right in. Then I come along and poke holes in it and now you see how ridiculous that whole idea was.

Believe it or not I'm trying to help you out. There is nothing wrong with your belief if you truly understand it but seeing how quickly you were willing to cling to this ridiculous idea of "believing for the sake of believing" I find myself wondering what other aspects of your beliefs you practice this blind faith idea.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/
