The only feature I would like to see is with the audio control. I have a smart phone and use that for nearly half the stuff mentioned above. as for converting formats I'm a digital artist and have most of the software on hand to do that, so I never realized it was an issue.
I agree audio leveling and an EQ would be clutch on the zune. I don't think it (the 8gb) is very good audio wise compared to the vision m, but I don't think the Ipod is any better either. I will say in my experience with the 3 players good headphones make all the difference. like good lenses on a dslr camera.
I have v-moda's for on the go and seinheisers for sitting at my desk. I highly recommend either, but the moda's are way sexier.

That's the thing. None of these features are new and iTunes has had them all for quite some time. These features have been in iTunes
at least since 2005. That's when I purchased the original iPod Nano. They were useful then, they were useful with my iPod Video, and they'd go great with my Zune. I was never a fan of Creative, but I've heard some good things about them. I considered the Zen Vision M, but the iPod Video won out. Like I said, I can look past not having some of them. I only brought this up to see why people feel that the Zune has so many more features when compared to the iPod.
