that would be too expensive probably.. that total would end up about $700-$1000 already.. and the question is..
do he need a monitor also? 9800GTX range from $250-$350.. 600w psu by Thermaltake is $40 on clearance at RadioShack, so i would recommend getting that right now right away, you'll be needing that. rams would range from $50-$100 if he actually need it for gaming. quad core is no need for average users at this moment.. 500gb is not that useful also.. unless you stuff your hard drive with musics and video.
