id wait to see how things pan out does the girl u like like anothe r guy and if she does is he a jerk im havin the same prob id wait until the girl u like pairs up with another guy [if there is one] and then when they break up step in and take over and if theres not another guy do it it shouldnt ruin ure friendship trust me ive done it plenty of times and its worked like a charm
